In my first term we’ve made incredible progress building a Pittsburgh for all!

Together, we’ve reduced gun violence by 45%, delivered 1600 affordable housing units, and made historic investments in our youth β€” and I’m just getting started.

Calling reparations β€˜complaints about the past’ is not just ahistorical β€” it ignores the government-sanctioned injustices that persist today.

Black America is owed repair, restitution, and justice.

Birthright citizenship isn’t some loophole. It’s a constitutional right, no matter how hard Trump and Republicans try to push their racist agenda.

The Supreme Court must uphold the law of the land.

DOGE budget cuts hinder restoration of Pittsburgh's Maxo Vanka murals Cuts to a federal cultural agency have hit the Society to Preserve the Millvale Murals of Maxo Vanka and the Children's Museum

The Society to Preserve the Millvale Murals of Maxo Vanka was informed that it would not receive the remainder of a $472,000 grant it was awarded in 2022 by the federal Institute for Museum and Library Services. That would leave them with a funding gap of up to $156,000 on the multi-year project.

It's too late to drop your ballot in a mailbox -- it must _arrive_ by Tuesday.

In Allegheny County, you can return it at one of 11 locations. πŸ—³οΈ

You do have to bring your own ballot, yourself!

Or you can take the entire ballot packet to your polling location on Tuesday, and vote in-person.

O’Connor outraises Gainey 3-to-1 in Pittsburgh mayor race this year; outside spending remains murky The candidates running for mayor of Pittsburgh β€” and their allies β€” have filed their last complete financial reports before the May 20 Democratic primary.

The reports offer the most complete picture so far of the activities of Common Sense Change, which supports Corey O’Connor, and the Working Families Party, which has been advertising heavily on behalf of Mayor Ed Gainey.

O’Connor citing an NTSB report on the collapse of Fern Hollow bridge as proof that Mayor Gainey is letting our β€œbridges crumble” is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve seen come out from his campaign. Let’s be clear here - the collapse was the result of a failure of the Peduto admin who ignored

Yuuuup. And Gainey stood with the LGTBQ Community (literally) to protest UPMC canceling trans healthcare and O'Connor won't even sign a letter about it.

Ed Gainey's opposition hand-puppet wants to equate the Working Family PAC with all his secret dark MAGA money donors who champion bad corporate landlords and know they have an easily manipulatable guy on Grant St, if they can ouster Gainey.

When Fern Hollow Bridge collapsed, Gainey had been Mayor of PGH for less than a month.

O'Connor, however, had been on Pittsburgh Council for 10 yrs, during which there were multiple inspections, reports & restrictions on FHB. Where was *he* in making sure the city wasn't "letting bridges crumble"…?

The claims the O'Connor campaign makes against Mayor Gainey are proven wrong again & again. Now it's claims that the parks tax isn't all going to the Parks Conservancy.

Correct! Because CITY COUNCIL VOTED NOT TO.

All the money goes to parks assets & maintenance.
