Department of Education dismisses book ban investigations, ends guidance The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights has announced that it is rescinding all past guidance issued against the removal of books.

So this happened today. I imagine this makes it easier for the banning of diverse books. Sad day for education.
