This summer travelling in Canada I met a number of U.S.A citizens, some even asked if Canada could incorporate their states into Canada. They were concerned with what they saw going on on their home turf. As I see now, rightfully so. History will not look back on this time fondly.

They reflect a society that has matured. We learn from our past (blemishes and all), it can't be erased, but we can and should learn from it. I have visited all kinds of monuments in the U.S.A., there is a lot to learn from that! But, here we are. North American neighbours, friends, allies.
