Jim Henson tried for years to bring a live show to Broadway in which the puppeteers would be seen as they performed. Backers were unconvinced an audience would buy into the illusion.

Jim knew better. He knew that the audience's eyes would immediately go to the puppet--and he's right.

Honestly, if this wasn’t being billed as a tournament we have to win, and was being used as the re-gen it probably would be if we weren’t hosting , I’d be 100% with her going AND playing.

Does anyone know what the go is with Mary Fowler?

Is she fit or not, because she’s not really been in the squads since that comeback game.

I reckon Lincoln will be in the squad, I just don’t think it’s a great idea.

Sally James if it’s up to me, I think Lincoln has higher highs, but James has only really had one big error this season that was just a gamble that didn’t pay off. She’s more consistent.

Everything I’ve see of her with U20 Aus team shows she’ll be a great GK one day, but that day is a few years away.

I think it’s important to take young players to major tournaments for the experience, and I don’t wanna be harsh, but Chloe Lincoln is a Tegan Micah injury away from being The #Matildas number 2.

And I don’t think we can risk it in a tournament that has the objective of win or bust.

Western Sydney would’ve been better off saying nothing and just continuing Multicultural round as they have been.

It’s 100% real. A Complete clusterfuck

This league does everything with one foot constantly pumping the brakes.

It’s an entire sporting organisation based around the core principle of “ooh, actually we’d better not.”
