I have talked about this most in private but "we break you awake" reads like Siyeon wrestling with both her legacy as an idol and a lot of personal self-loathing, until reaching self-acceptance. It's super great. Hope this cover gets them on the map for more people
This is such a perfect cover choice for them - it's a popular song, they give it a good rock spin and the theme matches the most acidic parts of Siyeon's lyrics in their debut really really well.
