UEF Global Development Day 2025 focused on how co-innovation transforms knowledge into sustainable impact. Henna Rinta-Kiikka won the UEF 3MT 2025 & People's Choice Award. Lais Oliveira Leite was runner-up & Christian Muragijimana was selected UEF candidate for the SANORD 3MT in 2026. Congrats!
With over 300 alumni, UEF has a vast network in and from Nepal. An alumni event was held in Kathmandu. The Nepali alumni are committed to collaborating with UEF and are establishing an alumni chapter.

The University of Eastern Finland has been awarded over 320,000 euros to coordinate five projects, in the Team Finland Knowledge programme 2025 call, and over 347,000 euros for student and staff mobility with 21 partners in 19 countries, in the Erasmus+ programme’s call for global mobility in 2025.
