Gotta love that when everything is struggling to get greenlit they're willing to pour millions into making yet another Family Guy spinoff even after the first one was a failure. Just keep pushing the same IPs over and over.
>Lightyear bombs
>culture war grifters blame it on the gays
>Disney removes all the gay stuff from Elio
>Elio still bombs despite removing gay stuff
It was never gay people. You just looked for a scapegoat for your own financial failures.
Wow. It's almost like the controversy surrounding diversity in movies is just a minority of loud idiots screaming about shit that doesn't effect them negatively at all, and corporate media just capitulated to them out of some misguided fear that they ever had influence on profits.
This is what courage gets you. They risked losing a project they've been working on for years to stand on their principals, and in the end they won. Artists and fans pushing back can make a difference. You don't have to accept AI being forced on you.
Of all the fucking people to beat Kobe's 81 point game it was fucking BAM ADEBAYO! Like good for him, but this was completely out of nowhere. His previous career high was half of this.
And for what? Who gives a shit about the color of my pants. This isn't for customers. It's for the dipshit corpo rats who want to pretend they're running a "classy" establishment and not a fucking slave mill. Deeply unserious people.
Will never stop being annoyed with work calling me out for dress code violations. Worked here for over a year with no issue and then they suddenly want to do this shit. Then I watch other coworkers blatantly violate it, but it feels like I'm the only one who gets shit.
And it's rich seeing the studio that made two movies about talking emotions say acknowledging gay people exist is like taking your kid to therapy.
Explaining gay people to kids is genuinely as simple as saying "Sometimes men and women like each other the same way mom and dad do." That's it. The idea that it's a burden to straight parents to have to explain this is pathetic. Also it's not like doing this made the movie successful.
I went through all their albums recently and it's really impressive the range and quality they bring to the table across 30 albums.
It just pisses me off how much nobody wants this except corpos. Consumers don't give enough of a shit about AI to pay for it. Workers get laid off over it. Artists watch their entire industry burn down around them because of it, but it gets to continue because big money says so.
Why does AI have to fucking ruin everything? It's feeling more and more like the only option left for animators is to move on from corporations because they refuse to budge on this until the bubble inevitably bursts.
The whole idea that everything this administration does is a distraction from something else gives them too much credit. There is no distraction. They just impulsively do awful massively unpopular shit over and over because they can and they don't think there will be any consequences.
Yeah because a show from a country that forces trans people to get sterilized for legal recognition definitely forced you to wear that.
Centrists don't perform better in red states. Republicans will still brand them radicals no matter how plain their politics are. Meanwhile leftists can break through to disillusioned non voters in these states in a way moderates simply can't.
Except what has Crockett done to make herself progressive? She's backed by Israel and hasn't really pushed a left wing agenda at all. At least Talarico is running on fighting the billionaires.
It has always annoyed me that the most consistent targets of bad faith wokescold behavior are often female/POC/queer creators who are the ones out there making the inclusive media their critics pretend they want.
Classy response. Doesn't blame the disabled man and holds the awards and BBC themselves accountable.
I was always kind of sad that between the Punk drama and Tony not really knowing how to use him his AEW run failed. It's clear WWE vastly overestimated how much the audience would know him. Also in general joining the fed in 2026 is a bad look.
Repost if your account is a safe space for the trans community. π³οΈββ§οΈ
I'll probably just go with YouTube. I've streamed on Twitch in the past, but got very little traction. At least with YouTube I have like 5k subs, and I feel like I should do it there to engage with the audience I feel like I abandoned.
I want to get into streaming, but I don't know whether to stream on Twitch, YouTube, or try streaming to both. I tried setting up Streamlabs to do both, but then realized you can't without getting their paid subscription (fuck that shit). I guess I'll just pick one.
This Digital Circus stuff is the first fandom drama to show up in my feed in a long time and a reminder of why I'm so fucking glad I'm not on Twitter anymore.
I don't know how to feel about Hangman invoking the Cody stipulation. It'll add stakes sure, but it also put them in a booking corner where Hangman has to win or they just pissed away the future of one of their top stars.
Cope vs Mox wasn't even that bad. It just had to follow three great matches.
"____ is distracting from ____" is cringe when liberals do it and cringe when leftists do it too. We can talk about more than one issue.
Now that I've watched both Sinners and One Battle After Another I can now officially say that they are both great movies, I'm fine with either winning Best Picture, and trying to pit them against each other is cringe.
It's a fantastic film in a vacuum, but the moment you learn about the director it taints it forever.
Yeah. Season was good, but it feels like it desperately tries to sidestep giving an explanation as to what ending in New Vegas is canon and how things got to this point since then. Then we end things right before we finally get NCR vs Legion. It felt like a build up season.
