AotP Swindle First Look Plus Bruticus Prototype Shows Possibly Better Proportions Transformers brand manager Nate Purswell (Transformers_Nate84) has been busy posting new images of Age of the Primes Swindle along with some shots of the Bruticus prototype on display at CCXP on his Instagram page. The biggest surprise is that Swindle comes with a trailer that itself transforms into Bruticus' gun! It can also be mounted to Swindle's shoulder in bot mode along with his more traditional Jeep gun and a smaller handgun. As for Bruticus, people seem to think the proportions look better in hand than the stock images we got before. Decide for yourself. Let us know what you think and if you'll be ordering Onslaught when he goes up for pre-order today in the Seibertron Energon Pub Forums!

First Look at Age of the Primes Commander Onslaught and Voyager Sideways Below you will see our first renders for commander class Onslaught and voyager class Armada Sideways, both part if 2026’s Age of the Primes line. Sideways won’t be voyager sized but comes with the 2 interchangeable headmasters. Onslaught continues the trend of the combiner having a skeletal structure that the components latch onto. The extra combiner bits attach to the back of the truck to elongate the military vehicle and can also become a turret.

New Galleries: Hot Wheels x Transformers Collaborative Bone Shaker and Twin Mill Tear Up the Track Rev up those engines, collectors! Seibertron.com is hitting the starting line today with two brand new Transformers Collaborative galleries that blast iconic Hot Wheels designs into robot mode for the first time in a turbocharged crossover between Hasbro and Mattel. These figures capture the spirit of classic die-cast legends while adding the mechanical flair only Transformers can deliver, and our latest galleries put both racers under the spotlight with full high-resolution coverage. First up is Bone Shaker, one of the most recognizable Hot Wheels cars of the modern era. Known for its open-frame body, exposed engine block, and trademark skull grille, Bone Shaker rolls onto the Transformers track as a Deluxe Class figure that converts into the original 2006 Hot Wheels rat rod. The figure comes armed with a stick shift mace, a fun nod to the car's old-school custom build aesthetic. While he is officially marketed as an Autobot, his sculpted attitude and sharp angles feel right at home next to some of the more intimidating Decepticon designs. Our gallery includes comparison shots next to Megatron as well as the G2 Laser Rods, highlighting just how naturally Bone Shaker fits into a darker, more aggressive display style. You can check out the full Bone Shaker gallery here: Hot Wheels x Transformers Bone Shaker On the other side of the track comes Twin Mill, a Hot Wheels legend whose twin exposed engines have defined high-performance fantasy racing for more than 50 years. His Transformers version stays true to the original 1969 design with a sleek profile, two massive velocity stacks, and bright racing colors. The Deluxe Class robot mode features arm-mounted engine blasters and attachable exhaust fire blast effects, giving Twin Mill the kind of track-ready energy that feels straight out of a Hot Wheels commercial. His bold blue color scheme also carries a familiar flair for Transformers fans, creating natural comparison moments in our gallery with RID Side Burn and even Optimus Prime. You can check out the full Twin Mill gallery here: Hot Wheels x Transformers Twin Mill These two Hot Wheels icons join an expanding roster of Transformers Collaborative releases that continue to bring pop culture favorites into the world of Cybertron. More than 20 Collaborative galleries are now available on Seibertron.com, including Gigawatt, Ectotron, Sonic, Major Bison, Code Red, Steelsmash, Tundra Prime, and many more. Transformers Energon Issues 31 and 32 Now Available Now there's a headline I didn't expect to be typing in 2025. Thanks to the efforts and generosity of our friends at TFNation, the canceled, never before published issues 31 and 32 of Dreamwave's Transformers: Energon comic series are now available on the TFNation website. Each issue is available digitally and completely free to download by either scanning a QR code, which is mirrored below, or by visiting their site and downloading directly from Google Drive. The issues themselves are a real treat, especially issue 31 as it's more-or-less the completed product that would have hit store shelves if not for its abrupt cancellation over 20 years ago. Issue 32 does not feature any color work, but all of Simon Furman's script and Alex Milne's lineart are present, with lettering done on issue 32 by Andrew Turnbull. Enjoy this blast from the past that many of us never thought would see the light of day. These comics are wildly different from the present output from Skybound and are worth a look even if you haven't read a single issue of the old Dreamwave Armada/Energon series, even if it's just to get a glimpse of another era.

New Gallery: Takara Beast Wars C-1 Special Convoy Real Gray Type (aka Gray Optimus Primal) Takara's Real Gray Type variant gives Convoy a unique look A new gallery is now live for Takara's 1998 Special Convoy Real Gray Type, based on the Ultra-class mold for Optimus Primal. This release kept the original C-1 packaging but added a sticker identifying it as the Real Gray Type. The redeco swaps the usual black plastics for dark gray, updates the blue robot details to a metallic finish, and changes the gorilla eyes to red, giving the figure a distinct look compared to the standard 1997 version. The Ultra-class Optimus Primal mold is loaded with features, including flip-over shoulder launchers, twin swords stored on his back, a flail hidden in the right forearm, a second launcher in the left forearm, and the arm-spinning gimmick that works in both modes. Even with a straightforward transformation, it remains one of the most memorable toys from the first wave of Beast Wars. You can also check out the other Beast Wars redeco galleries posted earlier this week, including Terrorsaur and Dinobot, and you can explore additional Takara-exclusive variants in our Takara Beast Wars galleries. Share your thoughts about this new gallery on our Energon Pub forums. Beast Wars Special Convoy (Real Gray Type) (173 images) - Ultra Beasts

New Galleries: NFL x Transformers Collaborative Steelers Steelsmash and Packers Tundra Prime Breaking the huddle early, Seibertron.com delivers the first full look at Steelsmash and Tundra Prime. Seibertron.com takes the field today with a rivalry matchup worthy of prime time as two new Transformers Collaborative figures line up helmet-to-robot for an NFL x Transformers clash. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers both send out their newest cybernetic recruits, and our latest galleries give you a sideline view of the action. Out of the tunnel comes Steelsmash, the heavy hitter from Pittsburgh who transforms from an official Steelers football helmet into a powerful Deluxe-sized robot. Built like a linebacker and ready to blitz, Steelsmash carries a removable helmet for robot mode along with a small football accessory for those fourth-and-goal poses. He is no stranger to roster changes either, later being recolored into Starblitz and retooled with alternate heads for KC-59 and Tundra Prime. You can check out his full gallery here: Steelsmash (Pittsburgh Steelers) Across the field stands Tundra Prime, the Green Bay powerhouse rolling out of Lambeau Country. Tundra Prime converts from a Packers football helmet into a Deluxe-sized robot with the same removable helmet and football accessory. With a frame built to weather any frozen tundra, he brings a strong presence to the matchup and shares his tooling history with KC-59, Starblitz, and Steelsmash. You can check out his full gallery here: Tundra Prime (Green Bay Packers) While these two may represent opposite sides of one of football's most storied rivalries, they are part of the same expanding Transformers Collaborative lineup. More than 20 galleries now showcase this crossover roster on Seibertron.com, including Gigawatt, Ectotron, Major Bison, Sonic, Code Red, and more. New Gallery: Takara Beast Wars D-5 Terrorsaur (1998 version) Takara's 1998 redeco brings this early Beast Wars villain closer to his animated appearance A new gallery has taken flight with the 1998 Takara release of Terrorsaur, known as Terrorsaurer in Japan. This version followed the original 1997 Takara figure and shifted the colors to better match his look on the Beast Wars cartoon. The redeco introduced a darker red base plastic, swapped black for dark gray, added yellow to the beak, removed the green spots, and changed the purple accents to a medium gray, making this one of the most show-accurate versions of the toy. Terrorsaur converts from Pteranodon to robot mode with a spring-loaded transformation triggered by pulling back the beast-mode head, with only the hands and feet needing manual folding. His pistol folds up to store behind the robot head and tucks cleanly into beast mode. As one of the first Beast Wars villains, Terrorsaur was always looking for a chance to undermine Megatron and seize power, often stirring up trouble for the Maximals along the way. You can check out more versions of the character in our Terrorsaur toy index, including the original 1996 Hasbro release and other redecos. You can also explore the rest of Takara's 1998 show-style Beast Wars recolors, including Blackarachnia, Dinobot, Rattrap, Rhinox, and Tarantulas. New Gallery: Takara Beast Wars C-4 Dinobot (1998 version) Takara's 1998 redeco brings a more show-like look to the original Beast Wars warrior A new Beast Wars gallery has arrived with a full look at Takara's 1998 C-4 redeco of Dinobot. This follow-up to Takara's 1997 release updated the colors to better match his animated appearance, including a tan beast mode, metallic blue robot details, white dinosaur eyes, and a gold helmet. His spinning cyber-slash tail weapon and sword return as well, storing cleanly on his back in robot mode. Dinobot stands as one of the most memorable characters from Beast Wars, defined by his strict code of honor, his rivalry with Rattrap, and the impact he had on the Maximal and Predacon conflict. This Takara edition highlights the evolution of the mold during the height of the line's popularity in Japan. PotP Predaking, Legacy Evolution Nemesis and Breakdown Are Getting Reissue with Higher Titan Prices This page may contain affiliate links. We may earn commissions when readers interact with or purchase items through these links. If you thought Titan class prices were already too much at $200, well, we've got some bad news. Power of the Primes Predaking and Legends Evolution Nemesis are getting new reissues through fan channels in 2026. For Predaking this will be its first since the initial release in 2018. Unfortunately, it won't be sold at 2018 ($160) or 2023 ($200) prices. No, it seems for 2026 we'll be seeing the price of large Titans increase to a whopping $230 for Predaking and $240 for Nemesis! That's a lot during hard times. This means that we'll have seen Titans rise in price by nearly $100 since Metroplex was first released in 2013. Sure, they're better than eBay prices, but that's still a big ouch. Meanwhile, after much teasing by Evan on the Transformers design team, we're finally seeing Legacy Evolution Deluxe Breakdown return to retail! He's been the hardest to find of the modern combiners and fans have been begging for a second chance to get him. Of course that means he'll be priced at the current Deluxe price point of $28 which will be far better for fans than the obscene prices he goes for on eBay. Depending on the retailer listings these will all be released between April and June 2026 (there seems to be some disagreement here). As with any other reissues these won't see changes from their original releases including the packaging. As fan channel releases they won't be made available at regular retail and only found at the likes of Big Bad Toy Store, TFSource, Entertainment Earth and GameStop. Let us know in the Seibertron Energon Pub forums if you'll be going for any of these.

Funko Warns The End Could Be Near for Them as Massive Debt Grows This page may contain affiliate links. We may earn commissions when readers interact with or purchase items through these links. Love them or hate them, Funko Pops have found a niche in Transformers collections, even now continuing to produce new figures based on our favorite robots. But that could end soon as Funko sounds the alarm that they're on the brink of shutting down as losses mount and debts become due. A third quarter financial report posted last week outlines loses from 2024 to 2025 that they claim are within expectations. The company is optimistically banking on a strong fourth quarter, largely because they'll be the only company with KPop Demon Hunter toys on shelves for the holidays, but also because Walmart named Funko Pops as a top toy for the season, This is in the face of what the same release reported as a $241 million debt (consisting of loans, credit and other debts). Despite the year over year losses, over the last 9 months they have seen a modest gain in cash. ($34.7 million on December 31, 2024 compared to $39.2 million on September 30, 2025.) Earlier in 2025 Funko announced they'd be cutting 20% of their workforce while in August they claimed US tariffs on China could be the end of them as prices climbed to match the new costs. Whether or not Funko can pull out of this is anyone's guess, but new CEO Josh Simon appears optimistic, stating it's, "clear how powerful the Funko brand is and how much growth opportunity lies ahead." We'll have to wait and see if more Pop Transformers show up in 2026 or if the Pop bubble will finally burst.

New Gallery: Transformers Collaborative Stranger Things CODE RED Transformers Collaborative Stranger Things Code Red Delivers a Slice of 80s Nostalgia for Stranger Things Day! November 6 marks Stranger Things Day, the annual celebration of the hit Netflix series that commemorates the date of Will Byers' disappearance in 1983 and the beginning of the show's supernatural events in Hawkins, Indiana. To mark the occasion, Hasbro recently revealed the Transformers x Stranger Things Collaborative Freakwency and 8-Trax set earlier today, and we're following it up today with a look back at the Stranger Things crossover that started it all - Code Red! Originally unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con 2023, Code Red merges two icons of the 1980s: the world of Stranger Things and the legendary Transformers. Code Red transforms from robot mode into an officially licensed Volkswagen Vanagon modeled after the Surfer Boy Pizza delivery van from the Netflix series. Despite the compact vehicle mode, he unfolds into a Voyager-Class-sized Autobot guardian ready to protect Hawkins from the Upside Down. This collaborative figure includes an axe, spiked bat, detachable Surfer Boy Pizza roof light that converts into a blaster, a pizza box accessory, and a Fire Blast effect. The axe and bat can connect into a two-ended weapon, while the blast effect and 5 mm ports allow for multiple display options in both modes. Code Red's packaging is modeled after a real Surfer Boy Pizza box, complete with clever details such as fake grease stains, Ancient Autobot writing, and printed Easter eggs referencing the Hellfire Club, the Demogorgon, and other elements from the show. To see all of these fun details, view the full Transformers Collaborative Code Red gallery by clicking any of the images below. While you're at it, make sure to check out our other recent Transformers Collaborative galleries including Draculus, Frankentron, Ectotron, and the new Sonic the Hedgehog crossover figures from the same line. To get fans even more excited for the world of Hawkins, Netflix also dropped the official Stranger Things Season 5 teaser - watch it below! We'd love to hear what you think of this latest crossover! New Galleries: Transformers Collaborative Ghostbusters Ecto-1 ECTOTRON and Muncher This page may contain affiliate links. We may earn commissions when readers interact with or purchase items through these links. They're back to bust some ghosts, Cybertron-style! Seibertron.com proudly unveils our latest Transformers Collaborative gallery - the 2021 edition of Ectotron, inspired by the Ghostbusters: Afterlife film! The crossover between Cybertron and the supernatural continues with this redeco and slight retool of the original figure, now featuring a movie-inspired aged and rusted Ecto-1 design from Ghostbusters: Afterlife. This updated version gives the Autobot ghostbuster a more seasoned look with cracked Ghostbusters logos and plenty of paranormal wear and tear. While the first Ectotron was released in 2019 as part of the debut Transformers Collaborative lineup, this later version adjusts several details to better reflect the on-screen vehicle. The car's roof ladder has been moved to the left side, and the robot mode debuts a new head sculpt with lowered goggles and a raised face shield. He still transforms into a licensed 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor ambulance, and his proton pack continues to form from the roof-mounted equipment. The figure also includes an unpainted translucent green Slimer figurine - identical to the one packed with the 2019 figure - and introduces a new ghostly partner, Muncher, molded in translucent blue plastic. Ectotron was first offered as a Target exclusive in the United States, going up for preorder on November 13, 2020, before later appearing as a Toyworld exclusive in New Zealand. This release also includes a reprint of Transformers/Ghostbusters #1 and swaps the original boxed format for a blister card. Designed by Hasbro's John Warden, the 2021 Ectotron keeps the spirit of the Collaborative line alive by blending the technology of Transformers with the humor and hauntings of Ghostbusters. You can explore the full Ectotron (2021) gallery, along with Muncher and Slimer. Fans can also revisit the original Ectotron (2019) release, still available on Amazon, or check out the SDCC 2019 exclusive MP-10G Optimus Prime Ecto-35 Edition and his premium-painted Slimer. This gallery wraps up our Halloween weekend celebration of Transformers Collaborative releases, following Frankentron and Draculus. From ghost traps to proton packs, these spooky crossovers prove that even in the afterlife, there's still more than meets the eye. Twincast / Podcast Episode #387 "Spirit Journey" The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast brings you its latest episode after the conclusion of a fulfilling, albeit fictional, spirit journey. Host Scotty P has traded in his spirit guide for Kuhlio and Aaarnhide19 to talk about London MCM reveals, Takara Prototypes, and even adult cartoons, which we will insist upon phrasing that way because we aren't allowed to have nice things. Episode #387 β€œSpirit Journey” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post. Here's what we discuss in this episode: The Energon Universe has now found a showrunner. This kicks off the conversation about what could be if the "adult" show finds a buyer. Toy discussion gets kicked into Overgear. Takara has the crew pining over the upcoming Ironhide and Blackout figures. Plus, an un-surprising but super exciting Missing Link Delta Magnus continues the discussion. Onslaught commands the conversation. The crew discusses the MCM prototype that provided the first in person images of the Combaticon leader in robot, vehicle, and base modes. Big Convoy tries to prove that big things can come in small packages. The cast may share a differing opinion. The cast returns to Feudal Japan for the reveal of a Boaring two pack. Perceptor1996 asks the hard questions. Had the war never started, which Cybertronians would be asking if you wanted fries with that order? As it usually does, Bragging Rights brings the show to a close | Love us? Hate us? Extra Super Love us? Drop us a review on Apple Podcasts or on your favorite podcatcher. | | Want to keep the discussion going? You can do so by simply replying to this post! | | Got a question for the Twincast? New Gallery: Transformers Collaborative Universal Monsters Dracula x DRACULUS This page may contain affiliate links. We may earn commissions when readers interact with or purchase items through these links. Happy Halloween from Seibertron.com! Just in time for the spookiest night of the year, our latest addition to the Transformers Collaborative galleries sinks its fangs into the lineup with Draculus! The ninth figure released in the Collaborative line, Draculus is a retool of Titans Return Mindwipe and transforms into a robotic bat. This mash-up brings Universal’s 1931 Dracula to life through a sculpt that specifically captures Bela Lugosi’s iconic portrayal of the Count. His robot mode features a sculpted tuxedo, a soft-goods cape, and a black-and-white deco inspired by the classic black-and-white film. Draculus includes a blaster, his "Impaler Claw" weapon, and a removable cloth cape that can be worn in both robot and bat modes. His new head and torso replace the Headmaster-style transformation of the original toy, so his head stays attached during transformation. The cockpit from Mindwipe remains, but the interior is remolded and no longer fits a Titan Master figure. His weapons can still combine, and they can attach as a tail in bat mode when pegged into the 5mm port under his head. In true Collaborative fashion, even the packaging gets a horror twist. The box is designed to look like a VHS tape, complete with a slide-out sleeve that reveals the figure and insert artwork styled after an old video release. Draculus was released in late 2021 and remains a fan-favorite among crossover collectors. You can find listings for him currently on eBay. Be sure to check out Frankentron and our other Transformers Collaborative galleries for more unexpected mash-ups where worlds collide. Like this toy? Think it should be tossed into the Smelting Pool? Share your thoughts at the Energon Pub forums! See all 160 eerie images of Draculus in our full gallery here or by clicking on any of the images below. New Gallery: Transformers Collaborative Universal Monsters Frankenstein x FRANKENTRON This page may contain affiliate links. We may earn commissions when readers interact with or purchase items through these links. It's alive! Seibertron.com adds another mash-up to our Transformers Collaborative galleries with Frankentron - a monstrous combination of Transformers and Universal's classic Frankenstein. The worlds of Transformers robots and Universal Monsters collide in the Universal Monsters Frankenstein x Transformers Frankentron mash-up. This Deluxe-class figure is a retool of Siege Impactor, converting from movie-inspired robot mode to a Cybertronian tank. In place of Impactor's turret cannon, Frankentron wields a large Tesla coil that can plug into his vehicle mode turret to form a lightning weapon. He also includes a purple lightning effect piece that attaches to the coil's end. Designed by Brian Parrish (Hasbro) with concept art by Emiliano Santalucia, the figure's sculpt draws directly from the 1931 Frankenstein film, featuring the monster's flat-topped head, neck bolts, and retooled hands that mimic his classic outstretched pose. The chest and thigh retooling emphasize the stitched-together, asymmetrical look worthy of Dr. Frankenstein's creation. Even the packaging plays along: the box resembles a VHS case with a slide-out tape tray, and the inner label written in Ancient Autobot translates to "Its alive." Frankentron was released in 2023 and is currently available on Amazon.com. See all of the electrifying details in our full gallery here or by clicking on any of the preview images below.
