The psychic pokemon natu, best described as a green orb with piercing eyes sits atop a crumbling old temply, covered in moss and vines and ivy, parts of the temple float in the air, there are more temples in the background hidden in the mist. The day moon is high in the sky.

4 panels, the first is just the waves of the ocean and some big ol’ clouds. the next three are focused on each of the new pokemon starters. Browt a little chicken looking guy is sitting on a log in a forest on the edge of a beach. Pombon a fluffy fire dog is standing proudly on some rocks while waves crash against them and lastly gecqua, a water gecko snoozes on a rock in a swampy pond area.

2:30: ron talks about how its sad that the pizza shops are closed mondays so thry can’t celebrate international pizza day, a day she learned it was from her laptop telling her. 3pm: sitting in the park, drinking a chocolate milk and spotting some good birds Continuing on from park time: a sense of dread washes over me when i feel like i’m being watched, horror vibes, paranoia etc. turns out its an intense nankeen night heron who appeared seemingly out of nowhere to stare at me. 5pm: running errands but mainly going to a trading card shop, i say to myself that i am just browsing but i soon spot a latias pokemon card i’ve been looking for. Its a HG/SS Era promo from 2010 (i think) in really nice condition! 6pm: heading home, side profile of a train zooming through inner city suburbia. 7pm onwards: instead of draqing boring stuff like eating dinner i draw the good birds i saw today, the night heron, chestnut teal, pacific black duck, cockatoo, australasian grebe, little pied cormorant and the swamp hen with her chick. Lastly a page with a broader event that was taking place during the day. I’ll type the text boxes. ‘I don’t want to forget that on this day the australian government had welcomed israeli head of state isaac hertzog into the country’ ‘A man who has overseen genocide committed against the palestinian people people for more than two years. A man who has personally signed bombs used against men, women and children, a man who actively blocks air aid, starves people, destroys lives and then salts the earth.” “The only thing hertzogs visit did was give the policeanother opportunity to violently beat protesters and… oh yeah, muslim men who were praying” “So while claiming to want peace and unity the australian government prefers to enable genocide not only by protecting those who happily commit atrocities but by freely welcoming them into the country” You can’t keep your hands clean when you shake hands with someone that has blood on theirs” “And peace and unity without justice isn’t worth a thing” ‘Free palestine, now and forever.”

Hourly comics title page featuring a single panel of an octopus underwater approaching the surface 5am: my cat wakes me up by clawing me, i relent and we go sit on the couch and watch the sunrise like real best friends. 6am: couch time, reading the news (bad) falling back asleep and dreaming about a plane crash. Continuation of the dream: the pilot is confident he can land the plane, i’m not so sure as i see the wing falling through the air out the window. A panel follows of a peaceful feild and then one of the distant explosion of the plane. ‘We didn’t make it’ reads the text box. Dream complete! Later o’clock: first panel reads ‘now its time for the getting ready morning montage! Then panels of me showering, getting dressed, eating a banana and getting harassed by my cat (best friend) 12pm leaving ghe house with ronnie, going to pick up a parcel at the post office but arriving to find the post office is closed for renovations so we don’t know where the parcel is. 1pm ruminating about shortly eating a sandwich which i had been very excited for before ronnie returns telling me that they have sold out. I’m sad.

A regent honey eater is perched on a branch.

The Regent Honeyeater: a critically endangered australian bird with only about 200/300 left in the wild. due to the low number of males who teach younger birds to sing, they are gradually losing the ability to sing their own song and have begun mimicking songs from other birds.
