The above example from the swimming world show some of the challenges we will face by mixing women and trans women.

Your understanding of statistics and science is limited. Elite athletes is a very small group and therefore you can’t use numbers that apply for mass sports.

Above you stated that trans women had a disadvantage, which make clear that the competition can’t happen on equal terms. Separation is the obvious solution. Furthermore as stated is elite sport by nature not average.

I see no reason to believe that this will be the case….and if it will take many years before we arrive at that point. Unfortunately.

It all depends on the sports activity. And it clear that elite sport would be ruined if trans women would participate in womens sports. Elite athletes are not average.

If this is the case then this is a strong argument for keep trans women out womens sport. It would not be competition on equal terms.
But I would like to see the scientific paper that shows that trans women do not have an advantage over women in say e.g. marathon.

No problem as long as this does not include participation as women in competitions on elite level. This will destroy sports for women on elite level.
