A more recent art of NotTrish with her unlikely freind William. When they met William tried to stab her in an alley. After a firm beating with the plot stick they are freinds now. This scene is after a specific moment in the campaign.

She cold starts to get to her and she starts to gain exhaustion when she sees a twisted version of herself that's wild and unkempt that attacks her. She fights as hard as she can but succumbs to the apparition which plunges it's hand into her chest and freezes her heart. Changing her alignment.

The test is three days of isolation with no warmth in the wilderness. (Keep in mind it's basically the north pole here bc of the rime) Vethea does pretty well at first avoiding a white dragon (yes my dm had a dragon in the one player one shot)

Because of that she tells the frostmaiden to test her and not the party because if she's strong enough obviously the frostmaiden has no reason to hurt them. (This is not a correct assumption because the frostmaiden is entirely malevolent) The frostmaiden sends her signs to do a religious test

Sooo Vethea had already started to like the party and realized the frostmaiden's druids had been sending owls to track them. Vethea believes that the frostmaiden isn't evil and just punishes the ten towns to make them stronger (her hertic beliefs).

Thank you! She is definitely a favorite!! Fun fact: she's a Goliath so those are actually her Goliath markings altered by the frostmaiden bc she was born on the wintersolstice

Actually her story is wild this is her design after she had a forced alignment change to chaotic evil 😭

This is old art of Vethea! My PC from Icewindale! She is a hertic paladin of the frostmaiden who had to choose between the connections she wanted and what she believed in. She got ice cubed by the frostmaiden 😭

Been thinking abt fleshing out her journey before meeting the party from the time she was 15 till she was 20 she was crossing the entire continent of faerün to track down the people who attacked her temple. Very extra but I still love it lol
