A man wearing headphones and a green shirt sits in a radio studio, speaking into a microphone. Papers are spread out in front of him on the desk, which also holds a control panel with buttons and sliders, another microphone, and a digital clock showing '13:39:32'. A window behind him reveals another room.

A person stands in front of a mural on a building wall. The mural depicts four individuals sitting on a ledge with the text 'The Undertones' above them, accompanied by a red arrow pointing left. The person is wearing a Fontaines DC T-Shirt. Below the mural, there is text that reads: 'TAKEOVER SHOW JACK MURPHY MONDAY AFTERNOON 11 - 12'

My next guest is Jack Murphy, @jackmurphynature.bsky.social UCC’s Head Gardener.

We will be playing his music picks & will be chatting about music, his role, biodiversity, and what libraries mean to him.

The blackbirds in the Lower Grounds certainly enjoyed the effects of Thursday nights rain. It was such a joy to stand back and see them preening themselves.

Delighted to give my first tree talk of 2025 to the dept of Learning and Teaching UCC. We looked at some of our more interesting species around the Quad and Presidents Garden and spoke about the connections people had with the trees and folklore associated with the trees. @ucclibrary.bsky.social
