Ye Vagabonds show at the Cedar last week was at least a generous offering
This should be one of the biggest land-use planning controversies in United States history. And that’s saying something.
DHS said that the woman CBP shot in the chest in Portland was “involved” in a gang shooting.
Her ~involvement~ was that suspected gang members sexually assaulted and robbed her.
This is Minneapolis:
When we rolled down Portland Ave toward Renee Good's memorial, tons of families (many sheltering in place for many, many weeks) waved & cheered from their windows, porches & front steps.
My kids' classmates. My neighbors.
😭
The arrests of Don Lemon, Georgia Fort, and Jamael Lundy are unacceptable and a clear violation of the Constitution.
This is a dangerous abuse of power that threatens the rights of every single American.
They must be released immediately.
Even under SCOTUS's dubious reasoning in Trump v. U.S., there is no scenario in which maneuvering billions of dollars to an offshore account to keep it out of reach from Congress and courts is an "official act." This is all criminal and impeachable.
this is a straightforward impeachable offense for trump, vance, rubio and every other person down the line who enabled it and the framers would have thought impeachment for it did not go nearly far enough
Spanish language calls for rent assistance are up 1,646%. On a recent day, the line soared to more than 1,000 callers with 130 people in queue.

congressional Dems could use a crash course in making arguments in the alternative: (1) send ICE to the Hague. If not, (2) abolish ICE. If not, (3) signficantly decrease ICE funding. If not, (4) cameras, no masks, whatever. you don't start with (3) or (4)!!
I am ready to pledge fealty to literally whoever has the biggest most grandstanding thirsty response to Springfield. You could do worse than putting on a show against ethnic cleansing
go for selfish reasons! make yourself a 2028 front runner by showing you give a shit and want to fight back
People on Lake Street discovering Bruce Springsteen wrote us a song as a man waving a Minnesota flag plays it from a speaker on his bike.
From a FB post about Alex Pretti:
"So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit—
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit."
“A chronic, devastating cancer in American society is prominent Democrats outright refusing to share their constituents' urgency and horror in the face of what is being done to society by Republicans, and insisting instead upon an empty, delusional performance of sobriety and professionalism”
The Summit Ave Regional Trail plan would shorten the crossing distance for pedestrians and sharpen the turning radius for vehicles, slowing drivers down. These safety improvements would save lives. This plan can’t be implemented fast enough.
Going to keep dreaming of the year round docked bike share that we deserve
Projects like this do nothing for economic development. They simply encourage more sprawl and suburban ponzi scheme "growth". MnDOT and others like the senator here completely undermined the effectiveness of the Northstar commuter train while encouraging climate- and economically-damaging land use.
Boo! We Molly Tuttle fans are disrespected by this name change

A bike trail to transit center connection? Millions of dollars. Having it open? There are some things money can't buy. For that you'd need mayoral class.
The Declaration of Independence specifies 27 grievances with King George III and Britain.
Donald Trump and his regime have committed at least 20 of those same offenses highlighted in yellow.

This was a good discussion with Tina Smith at the Minnpost Festival last weekend. One key thing she said was that the worst industry influencing DC right now is the crypto industry, which happens to be one of Angie Craig's big things. www.minnpost.com/inside-minnp...
Good work
And we lost ours for a much better reason
I love them
Reflexive fence building seems like a policy tailor-made to sow political cynicism and social exclusion
