bonnie prince billy was the reason why i picked the acoustic guitar again after a few years of just playing electric and fast. it was 2003, with “master and everyone”. so glad he keeps releasing music often, independently, and keeping it fresh and honest.

as a way to keep myself creative and playful beyond my serious music (aka @monegre.bsky.social), i set myself a weekly deadline to release anything music, be it songs, beats or sounds. been doing it for 6 weeks so far, under the moniker núvol fugisser (passing cloud).

Music is not an assembly line job that you quickly knock out before the weekend so as not to end up in the factory floor of oblivion. Musicians don't have a factory manager who dictates how often you have to release a piece.
