Today, coding my Framer plugin felt tough.

Building anything valuable isn't easy, and that's okay.

I’m so close to get the new theming engine to work the way I want in my Grit UI @framer.com plugin.

Can’t wait to share it when it’s done.

The closer I get to launch, the harder it is to stop tweaking things.

But at some point, you have to say, ‘It’s ready.’

That point is just about here.

The last 10% is always the hardest.

And I'm down to like 5%.

The Grit UI @framer.com plugin is almost ready, and I’m just a little proud of how far it’s come.

I didn’t set out to build a @framer.com plugin.

I set out to solve a problem I kept running into.

The plugin for Grit UI was just the natural result of asking: how can I make this better?

The scariest part of building a product is putting it out there.

But I believe in this.

I believe my Grit UI plugin can make @framer.com users’ lives easier.

This started as a side project.

Now, it feels like the beginning of something much bigger.

Building Grit UI plugin taught me one thing:

What feels impossible on day one can feel obvious a few weeks later.

The gap is just persistence.

Grit UI plugin is more than just a tool.

It’s a piece of everything I’ve learned about design and development.

I built it for people who want to work smarter, not harder.

The best part about building a product?

That moment when it all starts coming together. I had one of those moments today with the Grit UI plugin, and I’m buzzing.

The idea to build Grit UI plugin came from frustration.

I needed a better way to work with Grit UI in Framer.

When I couldn’t find a dev to build it for me, I decided to build it myself.

Creating something new is always a mix of excitement and fear.

Will it work? Will people find it useful?

But I’ve learned to lean into that uncertainty. Grit UI plugin is one of the most exciting things I’ve ever built.

I started this project with one question in mind:

"How can I make designing in Framer easier and more consistent?"

The Grit UI plugin I’m about to release is my answer.

It’s almost here.

Grit UI Framer plugin has been a journey of sleepless nights, small breakthroughs, and countless cups of coffee.

I can’t wait to share it with you.

It's getting there.
