Two months ago, my Wacom Intuos Pro gave up the ghost after 13 years of service. Just today, I decided to get back to clear my evergrowing bucket list by getting this Wacom One 14 Pen Display unit. Hopefully, it's a good replacement!

Been seeing posts lately about a certain sequel to some horror film parody series that I never heard of til now. Upon watching both that trailer and reading on its previous films, I think I didn't miss anything from not knowing of its existence.

After a decade of being away due to strong dejection during my younger self with no one to guide me, I took the time now and own courage with the support of many folks IRL and online to advise me on driving better. I finally did it. Neurodivergence can be setback, but I still overcome. 💪🏻

👀 Curiousity intensifies

My body seemed to be aching randomly. I don't know if a miracle is what I need for this coming week. But I seriously hope that things turn for the better sooner than later. Perhaps it's my tendency to rush things. Could use some good blessings so as to counter those unlucky things that happened.

Feeling kinda worried a bad omen might have fallen upon me. Noticing suddenly a string of property damage and accidents,from sliding window castor wheels being destroyed to slipping on bathtubs while accidentally crushing heavy duty shower hoses. All near my TP test. Something feels off...

I will always remember Sim Wong Hoo with both this technology I grew up with and the company that he founded and made this.

I remembered playing this a fair bit but I find roguelikes to be hard to appreciate, though I do love the gameplay loop and character designs. I also have the Vlambeer artbook, might wanna re-read it again.

This made me think over, to what extent should the creators specify the canonicity of what titles in their series. I mean, there's nothing wrong enjoying every entry out there, quirks and all. But Legacy of War being used as inspiration for Neo Contra while being disacknowledged is egregious IMO.

Reason I asked was because I used to play Contra 4 on the DS, which has a "Museum" feature listing all official Contra titles, but what stood out was it directly stating which ones are "non-canon". Weird that Konami just handwaved explicitly. But Nintendo OTOH kept parts of Zelda ambiguous.

By this logic, do you think that fans excluding Contra: Legacy of War and C: The Contra Adventure from the mainline Contra series are also fake fans?
