Also if you're ever wondering how I type and/or talk this is how I do it, it's very just short messages and stream of conscious. Truly just a hole directly to my grey matter

On the bright side at least the comments have lead to a thing where you have to click to view more so I'm getting somewhere with this journey :)

For now though, poetry gets to stay in a notebook.

And this isn't for a lack of trying, the fact that I'm burning as much goodwill and coping mechanisms as I have is proof that I'm still desperately clinging onto every last bit of hope.

But poetry is easy and comes the fastest and doesn't really take too much time. It's like taking an cough drop while you have the most horrendous sickness.

Like it helps stop the urge of piercing my eyes with steel beams, but like I'm still sick as hell and coughing up loogies.

It's funny how sometimes intense depression leads to a creative outlet. Interesting coping mechanism brain.

...I think in my case poetry has been the least useful in actually slowing down the spiral but I've gotten a lot better and faster with my words, so silver lining?

I feel like it goes without saying that I won't be posting any of the vileness but the other ones I think is fair game.

Idk I use it to vent and to get out some really vile emotions, but some of it isn't that bad.

If this goes deep enough I might be tempted to share some poetry?

I wonder how long a past goes. I'll keep commenting further and further on this post as often as I remember until I get bored or something cool happens. I'll send check ins every now and then

Meant to say people don't see me as one but regardless like 4 years into my transition and I still get tripped up on the concept of gender, I don't think this will ever stop

Like no part of me desires to be seen as a man or to be one. And maybe this just comes with being non-binary. But like it's odd that I kind of have to remind myself of my gender when I have to go into a binary restroom or even being confused when someone compliments my femininity.

Don't know if this is a common experience with other trans people but I feel like at times I forget that I'm trans? But not like in the way that I think I'm a cis woman but in the way that sometimes I forget I'm not a boy and people see me as one.

It's also not dysphoric, I just forget sometimes

In many ways I am just like the mold that grows on the raspberries in the back of your fridge that you had full intentions of eating but ultimately forgot about.
