I'd like to think that this means Facebook would stop suppressing links from legitimate news publishers that post about politics. But I remain skeptical.

Wouldn't this mean that content that's critical of the Republican administration also get more visibility?

Rotten performance from Celtic so far. How can we be so far off it?

Do you think doing a triple captain on Salah is madness? I’m so
tempted. But normally always save it for the doubles. 🤣

That's Playstation officially on Bluesky: @playstation.com

I've been surprised at how slow brands have been to create an account on here. Everyone criticises legacy news brands for being super slow to things - but they are actually much, much quicker on social media compared to any other sector.

Martin Lewis, Citizens Advice and Facebook launch major initiatives to fight scam ads Both initiatives have launched today

Martin Lewis successfully sued Facebook a few years back. I'm sure he'll do the same here.

I just don't understand why X never, ever faces any kind of punishment at all over these ads. They are making money from this and just happily defaming someone.

I spot a couple more tiny little spaces they could squeeze a few more mini-ads in! Poor show!

We'll see. Even if the traffic surpasses Threads or even X soon - it's still a drop in ocean compared to what Facebook used to give and what Google currently still does.

I find it quite odd that Celtic haven't joined Bluesky. What's the hold up?

What even is 'lazy linking?' I'm very curious to understand what he means by that.

They gotta do something about the verification system. Domains are all well and good for organisations - but for actual people it doesn't really work. And most people, even reporters, won't want their org as their handle. Also I could buy name as a domain - but it won't verify who I am!
