This week marks 4 years since the birth of my second son and my breast cancer diagnosis. It’s my annual reminder to be grateful for life, and also to encourage other women to check their breasts. Women with dense breast tissue are at higher of breast cancer — early detection truly saves lives.

‘Revolutionary’ DNA blood test to offer thousands in England tailored cancer care Liquid biopsy, initially for lung and breast cancer patients, can rapidly match treatment to specific tumour

This is fantastic news! I hope Switzerland will follow soon. I accessed this privately as a follow-up to detect early recurrence, and it has made a massive difference to my well-being.

Hi historians! For a project on eating practices and agri-food industry lobbying in Switzerland (20th-21st centuries), I’m looking for funded projects on similar themes. I’m hoping to build a network and to organize workshops. If you know of relevant projects, please share them with me!

This week marks my three-year anniversary of being cancer-free! I've now entered a new phase of remission, where the risk of recurrence decreases. Someone once told me that anxiety lessens over time, and while it does, even just a little, this milestone feels like a huge achievement for me. :)
