Too many people have forgotten what it means to be an American, to live by American values. Some of us are too far gone and will never be back. But today the rest of us should read this - and remember.

I don't candy coat the damage this election is going to cause. Elections have consequences, but never lose sight of these things. That vote was as close to 50/50 as it gets. Congress is narrowly divided. We will still be us and we will learn from this and emerge stronger.

If you want Bluesky to have a lot of energy (and have more news folks) you have to start following a lot of them, so that you can create a lot of discussions and cross-pollination, so to speak. Threads hates engagement, and X has drowned it in trolls.
