I'm calling on the beauty and power of autumn to shine a warm light our way. I should have a new blog out soon. I think it is time to gather, weave, and create something new.

I've been looking to nature to find a way forward in this upside down world. Navigating the heaviness in my heart is not an easy thing as we watch symbols, norms, and long heald ideals crumble before our eyes.

I know there is a way forward hidden somewhere in the shadows.

In these difficult times, I encourage you to pause. I encourage you to connect with the beautiful web of life that we are all woven into. Feel it. Breathe it. Remember it. There are good and loving beings out there. Remember, you are one of them.

As another day is winding down, take some time to offer yourself the space to let go of the weight you are carrying.

Fill yourself with gentleness and grace.

Breathe deeply and allow yourself to receive what you need at this time.

There is a long road ahead and we can do this together.

For those in need -

May the steady flame offer comfort and peace.

May the warm light offer strength and encouragement.

Breathe deeply. Steady your nerves. Slow your thoughts. Offer yourself the space you need and fortify your protections with love and care.

Rest as you must. Rise when you can. Hold space for yourself and others. This is the way to work as you walk the road ahead. And of course, ground and protect yourself. There are many miles ahead of us.

Weave your way into the world. Like the roots of the trees, seek the network that will fill you with love, nourishment, strength, and hope. Use this gift to create the world you wish to live in.

Work with the power of the snow. Embrace its lessons of stillness and silence. Sink into yourself. Drink from the wellspring, a gift of the Goddess, to receive what you need at this time.

The energy has been heavy and at times overwhelming. Like the trees in winter, we have been bearing the weight of the whirlwind that has been shaking our foundation. Pause. Take a breath. Prepare.

Take some time to rest tonight. Tomorrow is another day. Take shelter with those you love. They too, need you.

Be well and stay safe. This is going to be a very long road.

Walking the Path to Yule ~ Day 9 I must remember to trust the decent into darkness. I have found that it is best if we slip back into the arms of the Dark Goddess gently. For it is there with Her, rebirth is possible.

In my experience with this ritual of discipline, the second week can bring a deeper silence and a more serious reflection of where I am and what I will choose to dream during the long, dark, and cold winter.
