And what is this license that US journalists seem to have given Trump - a permission to lie about everything? He pulls baffling numbers out of his hat, like claiming that the US has supported Ukraine significantly more than Europe, while the figures are roughly the same. He must lie for support?

I’ve been aware that Trump admires dictators like Putin. However, I’ve been completely stunned by how blatantly he plays into Putin’s hands while creating conflict among the closest allies. Trump is actively weakening the US international influence and eroding the trust of its allies.

We in Europe are also shocked and no longer recognize the US as the same ally we once trusted. We wonder what secret information Putin has on Trump that allows him to be manipulated. To us, Trump appears as a weak puppet under Putin’s control, endangering the security of Europe and global peace.

I’m glad to see how united and strong the Canadians have responded to Trump’s tariffs, with a clear and firm message.

The Finnish concept of SISU, well known, seems to run in the blood of our dear allies, the Canadians. 🫡 🇨🇦

We are at the early stages of algorithmic social interaction. My hope is that someday we will have, for example, an EU or UN algorithm and artificial intelligence based on genuine care and the building of mutual understanding.
