I've been working on this rebrand for a few months, nice to have it finally out there. Picking a new name for the company we spent years building was really hard.

As for Omoi, it comes from 想い, a Japanese word that means “thoughts” or “feelings.” We think it captures our thoughtful approach to manga publishing.

Thank you to all the fans who supported us under our old name. We hope you enjoy continuing to read manga from Omoi in the future ♥️

🤔 Why now? And why this name?

Our team has a ton of love for “Azuki” as a name, but we’ve encountered some other companies using similar names, confusing a lot of our users and partners. And as we gear up for new manga joining the platform later this year, we decided to start fresh.

To be clear: there are no other changes at the company! We’re still owned and run by the same team that started Azuki back in 2021, and we aren’t making any changes to the subscription or pricing. Just a new name, simple as that.

Same manga. Same app. New name. Omoi. Download on the Apple App Store. Get it on Google Play. Or on the web at omoi.com.

Over the next few days you’ll see the Omoi name and logo roll out across all of our platforms, including our site, which is now omoi.com. If you have the app already, you’ll still have it, just with a new name. We’ll also be rolling out further changes to the app design over the coming months.

Azuki is now Omoi.
