I can’t really defend this on any level, but I think believing in vampires is more reasonable in some place in Canada compared to others. Believing in vampires if you live in Montreal is reasonable. There are no vampires in Calgary.

It’s my birthday today! I’m entering my old crone era, but still too young to start counting down to retirement

WWX was taken in but when it came to his birthdays, he never got a party.

He got a small generic cake and his siblings singing a birthday song to him. He got some gifts from friends, even received some cards at school.

There was something awful and awkward about seeing your intended spouse after turning them down that Wei Wuxian just didn’t want to deal with. It helped that he went away for university, and that Lan Wangji went away for university, and they happened to both go to different countries. Wei Wuxian liked to think they both wanted to get as far away from the situation as possible. (the situation being each other) So why, then, does Wei Wuxian’s heart skip a beat every time he sees Lan Wangji? And why is adult Lan Wangji so hot? It’s not fair that they could be married and instead Wei Wuxian is awkwardly pining for his former betrothed, a boy he once publicly broke it off with without regret.
