She noticed the flower on Sayori’s head but decided not to ask about it, there would be a better time for that.

Lusamine heard the girl say the word and, at first, thought it was a greeting, after all, it was the same word people from her region used to say hello.

As she studied the girl’s face, she realized it wasn’t someone she knew, it was a completely new face.

The Aether Foundation is an organization of which I am the president. We conduct research and investigate never-before-seen phenomena related to Pokémon.

But our main goal is to treat injured and sick Pokémon.

She leaned closer then, her lips brushing the shell of his ear as her voice dropped to a whisper.

Lusamine slid her fingers into Ash’s, slow and deliberate, as she softly closed her hand around his wrist.

❝ Yes, you are, Ash. I have a secret mission for you, one that doesn’t involve Ultra Beasts. I’ll need to take you to my office to explain it properly. ❞
