Goldeneye and it's one of the multiplayer stages but I don't know the name.
Daft Punk taught me that to get lucky, you need to be up all night.
I didn't think luck required work or preparation. But who am I to question the wisdom of two guys who once said "around the world" in a cool way?
Ghost of Tsushima is really good. I need to finish that one.
I don't bother watching announcements shows anymore. The next day, I just read up on what was revealed.
Some interesting stuff, in my opinion. Virtua Fighter, Okami 2, Ninja Gaiden, Project Century, Sonic Racing game, new Naughty Dog IP, and that new Fumito Ueda game are what stood out to me.
I'm actually surprised Final Fantasy returned to Tekken. Now, there'll be an expectation for Tekken 9 to feature the current FF protag of its time.
I thought Namco might look to a series they hadn't collaborated with for a cross-over. Not that I'm disappointed. Clive in Tekken is cool.
Just put Selphie in Smash Bros. Just to fuck with people. Everyone wants Cloud this, Tifa that, well, how about Kimarhi in Soul Calibur, a Spoony Bard in Animal Crossing, Faris in Sea of Thieves?
Show some appreciation for the rest of Final Fantasy. It's not all protags and VII.
I've seen a lot of people upset that game X or Y didn't win any, or many, awards and unfortunately feel like the developers need these awards to feel validated and to make a game a success.
I don't care for awards, and here is my take on this specific worry I've seen expressed.
After the recent update, I'll be using mine a lot more.
I also think that DC/PS2 had better fighting games than PS1 and Saturn.
I enjoy a lot of fighting games on Saturn and PS1, but I think I agree. Smash Bros is my favourite fighter that generation, and every generation since.
Win/win in my opinion. You get a great game, and the HDD
I find trophies a little interesting, but I don't feel compelled to get them.
There are a handful I kinda want to go for, like Star Ocean 4, just because it's insane. But I probably won't bother.
Infinite Wealth is one that I keep in mind, too. I'm trying to play in order, and I'm way behind, so I'll be lucky to even play it next year!
But the series so far has been excellent, occasionally surprisingly so.
Two per year would be insane for me. I think I've only got around 10 since 2007 or whenever they started.
Third entries that are my favourite in the franchise.
The smooth 3D effect of the Swirlwind was always impressive to me on the old green and green Game Boy.
My copy of Fantasian was waiting when I got home. Here it is next to FFVIII, for scale.
It's been so long since I watched any of the Wizard of Oz films or Wicked, that I couldn't really spoil anything anyway!
But this morning I suddenly remembered some certain characters from the Return to Oz movie. I think I should watch it again.
I don't own PSVR 2, but maybe you can guess what my favourite game would be.
My favourite game on every PlayStation console that I own, or have owned.
PS1 - FFVIII
PS2 - FFVIII
PS3 - FFVIII
PS4 - FFVIII Remastered
PS5 - FFVIII Remastered
Pocket Station - Chocobo World
PSP - FFVIII
PS Vita - FFVIII
PSVR - FFVIII Remastered (in theatre mode)
I don't even care about my own numbers. I have no idea how many people I'm following or are following me.
I follow who I appreciate, and I appreciate who follows and interacts with me, but I don't go checking the numbers, lol.
Sticking with racing games, today's soundtrack to and from work is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Gasp! No crumpets?
I need something upbeat for Monday morning. So I'll be listening to the recent 30th anniversary Sega Rally soundtrack as I go to work.
Oh, maybe it's more common than I thought to read grimoire like that, so they decided to name one that way to mess with people, lol.
How do they say it? It's been over a decade since I saw the musical.
My brother used to say Grimoree, but I've always known Grimwah (I can't think how to write it phoentically).
A great handheld. I bought my DS on the European PSP launch day (1st September 2005), along with my PSP.
I remember looking at a small stand of heavily discounted Gizmondos (if anyone remembers that, lol) near the counter. I didn't buy one.
Just 4 at random.
I haven't played Lunar, but I like the other 3.
Just catching up on some Tekken 8, and during one of Eddie's cutscenes, it starts playing Tekken 3 music! What a great nostalgic throwback to his introduction to the series.
