Not many of us, that’s for sure. But try. TRY and let that be the baseline.

Learn from there. Be flexible. Adapt. Survive. Overcome.

If you think you can do better, do better.

If you think you can be a role model for the people coming up after you, then do that.

Become the person you wish you had around you as a kid.

Even if you can’t do it perfectly, try anyway.

You have no idea what you can affect by at least trying.

Survival is resistance.

Taking care of yourself is resistance.

Practicing community care is resistance.

Showing up for others is resistance.

Not all forms of resistance are flashy and obvious, but that doesn’t make them any less meaningful.

If you’re documenting the ICE atrocities, make sure to back up your data.

Don’t assume it’s safe in the cloud or on social media.

Keep a copy (or multiple copies).

I also strongly recommend journaling what you witnessed by hand if possible.
