I have to say - @armchairhistorian.bsky.social's Master of Command is a masterclass on getting UX almost entirely right.
Understanding natural player workflow the way MoC does is extremely rare in a genre as complex as strategy!
Well done!

A screenshot of the upcoming game EU5 in which - this is extremely funny and you should laugh aplenty - countries in Western Europe were exchanged with other countries that match their colour. Castile is Bohemia, France is Bavaria, England is Serbia and so on. This is, again, extremely humorous. On top of it all is a Multiplayer chat box that has not been seen in modern Paradox games for quite some time. The humorous messenges "A MULTIPLAYER CHAT?" and "IN MY GRAND STRATEGY GAME??" have been posted, a rather lazy reference to something I have already forgotten about. That's not that funny, so only laugh a mild amount.
I am allowed one EU5 screenshot, so I will be showing you a chatbox in game and nothing else of note.
(No, I don't know whether the chatbox will be there for release, but I hope it will be!)
Played the Anno 117 demo, thinking about playing it on the channel.
Gonna wait until full release.

Thank you for considering it!
I do not, but have been considering doing one lately!
02.09.2025 07:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I've been playing a lot of Europa Universalis V.
I really like complaining about a lot of it, but I also really like playing it.
classic grand strategy experience, innit?
Realised only right now that Spider-man's name ISNT actually Toby Maguire
14.08.2025 06:45 β π 5 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0This is an incredible homebrewed Cyberpunk city called "Paradise City" made on Inkarnate. I cannot describe how detaileld this map is without doing it an injustice. It is unbelievable and kept in a Cyberpunk-style throughout, hitting every single trope.
I found the craziest Cyberpunk-homebrewed city map on Inkarnate and I cannot believe it.
It's the best map I have ever seen in my ENTIRE LIFE.

Look at this. Wasn't shared anywhere on Google I as far as I can see despite its quality.
Unhinged find.
The map is titled "The Twin Streams" and shows a series of interconnected locations inside a mountain, organized around two rivers that flow southward and merge at a place called the Silent Pool. - Depleted Veins (bottom center): A path leads downward from here, marked "To Clearfalls" - the pathway to the main settlement from which the party begins its adventure. - Secluded Gate (to the right of the Depleted Veins): A winding path moves from the Depleted Veins to the Secluded Gate. - Mournful Statues (left of the river): It's connected to the Depleted Veins by a broken bridge crossing the river. - Desolate Hall (north of the Mournful Statues): A massive, dark hall filled with obelisks labeled Whispering Obelisks. There's a dotted path winding through it. - Shattered Dungeon (east, across the river from the Desolate Hall): An area marked by ruined and broken structures, with a dotted path snaking through it. - Silent Pool (top center): Where the two streams meet into a serene but eerie lake. There's a prominent square marking a central structure at the pool's center. - Glowing Falls (near the broken bridge): A landmark where glowing waterfalls spill into the river. It is impossible to sail up the river past this location.
This is what my players will explore tomorrow in Grimwild!
The twin streams of Clearfalls (running on one riverbed, but separated cleanly in the middle) have become unsteady and the group wants to find out what caused it.
Grimwild has been a joy so far, can only recommend it!
"You're a traitor to your own race!" (If the combatant is also an elf)
It's crazy work that a random Bosmer bandit will just call your Dunmer character a race traitor.
What did Todd mean by this?
A very creepy oblivion face underneath a black hand hood.
Somehow ... palpatine returned

19.04.2025 19:41 β π 2 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0A fantasy-style map labeled "Clearfalls" occupies the center, showing various interconnected locations. To the top left, a whimsical blue stick figure with flame-like hair and a brown patch on its chest is drawn above the map, The map features the following labeled locations: Forbidden Pillars: A large, shaded-off area to the left. Dilapidated Shrine (floating monument): Central and connected to many locations. Shady Gemcutters: South of the Forbidden Pillars. Grimy Orphanage: Lower left. Forlorn Silversmith (Lost his love in Greenhome): Bottom center. Sprawling Docks and Thriving Thermal Bathhouse Odyssey: Near the shrine. Steelhand Meadery: Top right. Battered Guildhall: Below the Meadery. Haunted Garrison: Lower right, with a star marking βBottomless Well.β Immaculate Inn: Bottom right corner. Waterfalls flow from the bottom of the map, suggesting the town sits above a cliff or river source. To the right of the map is an illustrated landscape of the outside of this mountainhome settlement.
Oh yeah, check out Clearfalls!
This is the first settlement the group enters in Grimwild!
It was drawn by them via the Grimwild exploration system. Super fun and gives me a lot of openings!
It's an old Dwarven mountainhome that stood abandoned until a little less than a decade ago.
Arguably the funniest thing to happen for the Oblivion Remake would be if it was SO GOOD that people now expected TESVI to meet that quality.
15.04.2025 18:26 β π 9 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A screenshot of a complex and overwhelming-looking world made in Excalidraw. It features floating islands, mountain ranges, various towers, entry points into the Underlands and various other more mythical things. The area the TTRPG group will actually explore is only about 1/500th of the entire map or so. Mages, fungoid, goblinoid, orcish and various other civilisations call this world their home.
Forgot to post this!
We FINALLY finished creating our TTRPG world in the fantastic Worldwizard - it's collaborative world creation and the world is much richer for it!
NOW, after three weeks of Worldwizard, we can actually start playing! LMAO
The play area?
Just those three pink hexes.
A Blacklist promo image featuring James Speeder and megan Boone.
What is this show: Blacklist?
I've gotten clips of it in my YT Shorts feed lately and EVERY CLIP is of the main character talking to somebody to learn the whereabouts of a different person.
EVERY. CLIP. Is he just going down an endless chain of finding people for ten seasons?
Death Note, but Light is blind and can't actually use it, so he just hangs out with the shinigami for a couple of years
