Every year I say that I'm not going to use my own money to buy things for my classroom. This year my money is especially tight due to rising grocery prices and utilities. So what did I just do? I spent over $100 on new posters.

I spent spring break visiting dear friends in Minnesota. It was so wonderful to get away and spend some quality time with people I care about before I start the manic 4th nine weeks of the school year.

Life is really scary right now. I'm thankful I have a continuing contract so at least I have job security and can pay my bills.
