Beef stew is so fucking fire. Braise the beef in beer and beef stock for a couple hours to get the house smelling great and then dump in some veggies, boom, perfect Sunday dinner

It’s so sick! The AA leader is great and the whole core of the deck just looks right up my alley. It’s also not a hyper aggro deck or a purple deck, and I think that alone helps to balance the meta a bit

Oh, the Oregon One Piece community has a lot of folks that run events like this that do well, we’re just a bit of a drive from Portland and for most, if it’s between driving for an event or just playing locally, they’ll stay local. I think a store in the city was running an off-meta event too

The first place winner was on Nami, which cracked me up a little bit because the only banned card in their list was Cabaji, which in today’s meta honestly wouldn’t be that bad. I think it could safely be unbanned, Nami is just as strong with or without it.

Round 3 L VS Lucci. They took first and misplayed a lot, they’d never played a black removal deck before, but I got too complacent and greedily swung for lethal hoping they had more bricks in hand. They hit two 2ks from life and it was just enough to save them

Round 2 W VS Newgate. Smoker ends up being a great pick against Newgate for the same reason it’s ok into UP Luffy, it gets over the 6k leader more consistently. That said, they didn’t have great draws and couldn’t stop the hemorrhage of their leader ability, it was just a matter of time.

Round 1 L VS RP Law. Obviously a great deck or the leader wouldn’t be banned; Kid & Killer is a goated card.

Kinda crazy that only 6 people showed up to my LGS’s No Bans event for One Piece today, we usually get more than that at our weekly locals and usually cap for release events. Anyways, I took black Smoker for fun and had a good time, only went 1-2.

Yeah, I don’t play much on my PC as it is, mainly just FFXIV, but I’m starting to see that my computer is falling behind on it. Honestly, if it weren’t for FFXIV, I’d probably recycle the whole thing and just get a ROG Ally or Steam Deck and maybe a low end laptop for email and stuff

Playing PvP in the original Destiny, my team was doing really well in Control, until the enemy team was approaching down a hall, I chucked a grenade and my teammate stepped in front of me, rebounding the grenade back and killing everyone we had on the point.

Also wanna upgrade the processor while I’m at it, but honestly, everything else is pretty good still. My mobo had JUST come out when I got it in 2019, and it’s still pretty highly rated, so no need there. PSU might get updated just because it’s old, and I’m getting a mid tower

It’s finally time to rebuild my desktop, and goddamn, graphics cards have exploded in price. I can confidently say that given my 2017 graphics card runs most things fine on high settings, I will be opting for only a moderate upgrade.

We have one confirmed, and one BY Luffy. We’ll see if any other Laws or any Sakazuki’s pop up

My LGS is hosting a “no ban list” One Piece event on Saturday and I SHOULD take Lucci, but I’m taking Smoker instead because he’s more handsome. Either way, it’ll feel nice to have Gecko and Ice Age again
