This week I gave myself the week off editing to write. I've managed ten chapters and close to 4K per day on average. Next week I'm back to editing, but hope I can at least keep up half that pace. If so, I might finish this next Harker novel this spring.

Unfortunately the greatest problem progressives face is other progressives and an alarming tendency to devour our own. Ironically, it's the same problem facing Christianity. Plenty of people like the religion, but the people who most loudly proclaim to follow it are assholes and alienate everyone.

But I still think I might die before this ship is righted. Unfortunately, if I die of old age before Trump and the GOP's gutting of our nation is fixed, it means millions of others will have died before me, and not of natural causes.

This dimwitted, drug-addled fuckwit has done more to damage our nation in six weeks than foreign powers could do in six decades. It's going to take many many years to fix the damage that he's done, and I can only hope I live long enough to see it. And for the record, I'm 51, so I'm not that old.

And told everyone I ever had a chance to speak with not to work with them. This is much bigger, but I can only think that it will have a lot of the same results. A whole bunch of foreign leaders never trusting this country to behave ethically and honorably again. And they shouldn't.

I sat there and listened to him bitch for about an hour while my boss sat next to me watching me get more and more embarrassed. Until I stopped being humiliated and got angry myself. Then I told him to take his project and shove it up his ass. Never worked with that company again.

This whole Trump/Zelensky Oval Office BS reminds me of a time I was called into a meeting with an electrical contractor to negotiate work on a project. Except I wasn't. I was called in there because the contractor waspissed off at me and wanted to yell at me face to face.

That's cool. I ended up having three surgeries since the first of the year, and am just now back to what passes for normal around here. But I'm pretty wide open for March and April, so let's do this! :)

I'm back! It's been a hell of a year so far with two cataract surgeries and a "minor procedure" to correct some afib that they found during the second eyeball poking. It's always minor when it happens to somebody else, right?!?
I'm recovering well and back to my normal shitposting and cat worship.

They go low, put a knee in their face. Then when they fall on their back, stomp their nuts. A lot.

No worries. You couldn't have known. I just wish Amazon would disable that feature entirely. All books have typos. After the number of revisions a book goes through, we should just let the survivors live. They've earned it. :)
