But Donald *will not* sue Ted Lieu for defamation. Why? He's been told by lawyers that in defamation actions, truth is an absolute defense.

The best way to provide people worth voting for is to enable voters to choose the politicians, not allow the politicians to choose which voters to keep or discard, with various forms of voter suppression.

Exactly! All of the various forms of voter suppression are done in an attempt to enable the politicians to choose or discard voters when it should work the other way around. I think if voting meant a tax break, lawyers would be more interested in ending voter suppression with lawsuits.

If we're honest with ourselves, the only way to get to a "Star Trek" universe, is to look logically with benevolence at the most basic things we do as societies to determine how to enhance life for all humans. It's the way to minimize envy, greed and other negative aspects of "the naked apes."

After a thorough study of the large organized religions in my twenties, I learned the negative aspects they all have in common. My only religion is logic with benevolence, and even so, I often fail to live up to my own standard.

Republicans are working overtime to make it as hard as possible for you to vote. Because they know that they and their policies are deeply unpopular and the only way for them to win is to double down on cheating.
