She spoke honestly as her gaze landed on him.

She mentioned, while adding the four teaspoons of sugar to the cup with the coffee granules before adding the hot water and cream stirring them into the perfect blend.

"Aren't you sweet enough?"

She noticed his body language as he leant back in his chair reliving the story.

"Necromancers are a pain to deal with so I know it wasn't easy but at least you got rid of the Lich in the end so I applaud you for that."

"Probably alone in my room or out in the garden under a tree."

She added before following her through and into the kitchen, grabbing another cup as reboiled the kettle for their coffees.

"You can have it, I'm okay thanks."

She kindly refused the meat with the wave of her hand, though the story of the lich caught her attention.

"You're saying this house used to be haunted, tell me more."

Illyana couldn't be bothered to walk all the way back to the kitchen, instead she opened one of her stepping discs.

"Right this way then."

"Thanks, if only other people could be so accepting.

I'm Illyana and what about you?"

She'd slowly follow him inside and down the stairs, making her way over to the fire where he sat.

"This place feels cozy."

"You got me there."

She nodded with raised brows.

"Nothing special just a cup of coffee, do you want one?"

She looked up noticing the steel sky as the rain began to fell, the aroma of earthy toned hit her nose.

"Yeah, I think we should."

"Da, we do have that big ass pool. Did you bring a swim suit?"

She asked with a light chuckle.

"We can go up to my room if you wanna but I was in the middle of making myself a drink before you rang."

Illyana would stay quiet to let the moment continue but she was more than willing to leave if the knight wanted some alone time.

Good because she wouldn't want him to be alone.

She nodded softly.
"I understand, I find myself caught in moments like that."
