Pierre Poilievre refuses to get national security clearance. Very sus, as my 8-year old students would say. Bruce Fanjoy has sponsored a petition which calls on all party leaders to have a security clearance.
Please sign the petition and share it far and wide.

Earlier this month, Boston Dynamics and Google Deepmind announced a partnership.
Canโt wait to see the BD robots get LLM-pilled.
If the humans donโt do from taking advice from ChatGPT, well, thisโll do it.
A Boston Dynamics does some gymnastics.
Only takes a minute to participate in our democracy.

What's nice about the German system is it isn't fixated on filling vacancies. Coop students there get to do the multiple activities approach you're talking about. It's not recruitment, it's workplace readiness, smart and flexible. We could learn something from it (lowest youth employment globally!)

COLLABORATIVE supports. It's the C word #cdnpoli struggles with.
High school & junior post-secondary should be a flexible zone where students experience work & PS directly. The systems we follow were designed over a century ago, time to play a new game. Most #Canadian kids should have coop experience as they move into the world of work.

Germany has done more than any other to close the school to work gap for its youth: skillsforemployment.org/sites/defaul...
But it requires commitment from both education & industry - neither of which feels responsibility for this in #Canada where responsibilities are gov funding defined.

Without a #cdned K12 framework focusing on senior years leading to the comprehensive #digitalskills needed for effective #AI (& general tech) use #Canada is going to default to its usual 'import talent' practice.
A homegrown future talent priority built into this please
