finally got fl studio to run on pop!_os, nightmare nightmare nightmare
one of the only downsides to running linux is the poor compatibility with windows programs. wine runs pretty much everything, but it's just a pain in the ass to setup sometimes lol
downloaded screenzen today, i reeaaally need to limit my screen time tbh. i doomscroll this app and others and look things up constantly, i need a physical barrier so i can actually do the things i want LOL
i also really hope that the remake isn't seen as a *replacement* for the original, because the original is what brought so many people together in the first place yk. idk, i love OFF, and im excited to see the reimagining
it will definitely be different than the original, but imo i think it matters so much more that the original game is bringing so many people together to create something new, while they share their stories in how OFF affected them. Mortis Ghost is so awesome for making this opportunity for people :)
-me to tears too. Hearing just how much OFF meant to them and Felix, and especially how they modeled the new residential area chase theme after one of their first collabs with Felix before he passed, it's just so so awesome to see this game get revived by the people who it means the most to. (3/4)
-Nightmargin is on the soundtrack, Toby Fox is on the soundtrack, a lot of people who were impacted by OFF and its original message are on the project for this game. i really think that's wonderful tbh, reading nightmargin's interview almost brought- (2/3)
so i'm loving the development for the new OFF game so far. I think it's definitely gonna be way different than the original (hard to say whether that will be a good or bad thing yet). but something i'm really loving about it is the sheer amount of community effort going in.- (1/3)

just finished TOTK for the first time, and i want to say that it absolutely blows that ganondorf in this game had one of the coolest fucking designs, yet in terms of personality he's really one of the most boring ganondorfs imo. he's just flat evil and wants to rule the world, yet he's SLAYING??
i can't believe i bounced off FFVII for several years only to play it seriously at a time where its *extremely* topical LOL. i really can't believe i never gave it a chance for so long, it's a fantastic story so far
totally agree. western classical theory is good for the Very Very Basic, and practically nothing else tbh. it's also not the only way to learn as most people would make one think
