Regal Bassoguitar
(streams here: www.weve-been-had.com/blog/ or you can find it at the usual podcast places)
(if you don't know the show: in its initial form, we take about 20 episodes where we talk in depth about each Uncle Tupelo song; then, after a false start, we switch formats and take turns picking an album to talk about in each episode, after a period of listening and research)
RIGHT!
think about how weird it is that Scott Adams salted the earth for future comics--at least for a while--about how silly work is
Listened to our discussion of Appetite for Destruction while walking Aug this morning, and: if I was self-castigating for not really talking about the *musical* side of music in my freelance days, I think we do a pretty good job of engaging with that side of it on the podcast
so, chad and I are drifting towards finally recording another We've Been Had episode later this month, and, to prepare myself, I've been listening to back episodes to reacclimate myself to the flavor of them, and, critical as I can be of my own stuff, some of these are pretty good
And if you don't know, the most natural thing to do is to go out and look it up, to make sure you were properly informed about a thing that annoyed you on instagram
I won’t be going back. Target has been a safe haven for ICE and that’s unforgivable. ICE continues to feel safest in the Quarry Target parking lot and using their handicap spots without intervention.
Don’t shop at Target, shop at immigrant owned businesses and co-ops instead.
the person and their conversation are residents of the Phantom Zone now, but it was basically 1) savage dragon is a good comic, 2) duh, you stupid fucker, the current main character is named malcolm and he's an adult and 3) you are a lazy pice of shit for not looking that up
you never step out into the world expecting to get sealioned by a total stranger over Savage Dragon, but here we are

haven't made a show graphic for it yet, but: Creekside Ruffians at Minnesota Music Cafe in St. Paul, Weds. April 8, about 7:30
it's the 21st century and language is a living system! we can revive it as gender-non-specific as we want!
did you ever hear the tale of George the Clever But Inarticulate? I thought not. it's not a story the jedi would tell you
not least because then, if you wanted to express that you weren't the same as someone else, you could say "I'm a different breed of cat"
we as a people should really think about bringing "cat" back as slang for person
hmm
if you're looking for a used piano, today's your day on twin cities CL
