I won at bowling but losing to my youngest at crazy golf. Losing to my wife as well which is muchly annoying…
British food is amazing and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
Just please don’t eat at shitty chain pubs, have some self respect!
Proper country pub food is about as good as it gets. End of story.
What is annoying is when someone on instagram says “great view” and they’re in every photo posing blocking the view.
Yes, you’re very attractive but still not as attractive as that panorama.
They’re a bit dry and not too full of taste.
But then oven chips are also very bland.
I also fry in butter though, so maybe it’s just me.
Oh god they were so bad, I remember violently puking after having way too many on a night out…
Dead Rising 1 was probably the last video game I played heavily before having kids and switching over to Warhammer 40K instead to do something more sociable (I.e. get me out of the house) - if you have kids you’ll understand…
I hardly ever play anything now, the only time is local multiplayer.
I know I keep saying it, but Apple TV is so far ahead of any other streaming platform.
I finally got around to finishing S2 of Severance.
Man, such quality. Proper adult TV.
I mean, mash or waffles are undeniably healthier!
We only use it for chips and don’t have them that often, so it’s not too bad
Chips are, we deep fry them here
That’ll explain it then.
Air fryers are so good, we use ours all the time.
This is going to sound strange but at first glance it looked like an aliens face hugger.
If ya squint you might see what I mean…
Looks very “clean” for a fry up!

Said it many times.
Men should give other men compliments when they dress well.
…and make an effort. I can’t imagine many women want a man in a scruffy t-shirt. It’s hardly the James Bond archetype.
Somebody (a man) yesterday thought I was too young to remember the 80s.
I’ll take the compliment, thanks!
Hells yes
I have done a lot of muting and blocking and it’s a lot better now. I basically just want to see landscape/cityscape photos and nerdy stuff.
I suspect it’s mostly people who use online as a replacement for real life.
Bluesky is a much nicer place than X but what’s with the “adults pretending to be 12 years old” thing?
When I was at uni, a bedroom full of cuddly toys or action figures would have been a major red flag.
Has it changed that much?
It’s suffered the same fate as Star Trek. It’s more infantile than it used to, built for generations that refuses to grow up.
I’m an adult, older Doctor Who is written for me, but not this.
I don’t know who the target audience is anymore.
It certainly isn’t 40+ men.
It really is. Which pisses me off as there is no excuse except bad writing really.
We used to export some well known BBC titles, but it’s not as once was.
Top Gear and Doctor Who are just fragments of what they once were.
My wife has put a massive candle underneath the new OLED TV in the bedroom. This feels unwise.
Not really sure why the BBC still exists. I’ve not watched any of their TV channels for a couple of decades. Who watches “TV” anymore? Pensioners?
The only thing decent was Doctor Who and that’s been turned into something nobody watches anymore.
I got a new whisky for my birthday. 52.4% and the very definition of full bodied.
He is a very poor predator. He’s the same with every other animal family member we’ve had.
It’s really nice out, fresh and pretty!
Noisy sod when I’m on a call! Feels very spring outside tho finally.
Can somebody please hit the simulation reset switch. Please!

I just had a foot long sub and I feel like a proper fat git.
But I’ve been sawing and chopping trees all weekend so kinda deserve it, even if I do feel like I’m going to explode.
How do we people eat these??
I actually really like games that look like applications. Probably because I’m a (desktop) application developer at heart.
Simulations in particular work really well.
