Looks like spring weather is melting the snow on the high lands of the #Cairngorms

Torbreck; a circle, SW of Inverness, with nine almost evenly spaced monoliths with the largest at 1.2m #StandingStoneSunday .... The southern R Ness catchment has the remains of five #ClavaCairns & this one circle.

After what seems like days the cloud finally 'lifted' this afternoon revealing the #Cairngorms at their beautiful best.
There are thought to be about 50 #ClavaCairn style tombs within 80km of Inverness; Delfour, SW of Aviemore, built so ‘it is orientated to point SW where the sun would set at midwinter’ #TombTuesday
