Just found out my wife might be losing her job, so I'm desperately searching for work. Contract, full-time, freelance, whatever. Press, PR, consulting, anything. I have 16 years of editorial experience and have been writing about games for 13. Reviews, news, previews, guides, etc. RTs appreciated.

Riftbound: Origins review: Ahri ready to play cards? by @epicswitzer.bsky.social
"Riftbound’s unique king-of-the-hill-style gameplay is well balanced for both pick-up-and-play and deep strategy, and it scales wonderfully from two to four players."

Eric will be a huge asset to anyone. Hire Eric.
Eric was such a big part of the team and was the face of TheGamer in the US. He worked so hard and cared so much. Please hire him!!
Incredibly jealous of whoever gets to work with Eric next, one of the most passionate writers I'm lucky enough to call a friend
Love you pal
Thanks man
Thanks to everyone who has supported my work over the years. I wasn't prepared to start a new chapter today, but I'm going to do my best to embrace it.
I'm incredibly proud of what we've built at TG over the last six years. I worked hard to give the site its own voice and identity, which is something you can see in my video coverage, podcasts, features, and the beat that means the most to me, Disney Lorcana.
After 6 years with TheGamer, Valnet has decided to shut down features and lay off the entire team, including me.
I don't know what's next for me but I intend to stay in games, whether that's at another outlet, consulting, or PR. If you have any leads, I'd appreciate any help
Palace Heist review! A huge step up from last year's deep trouble in presentation quality. Game is a lot of fun and better balanced IMO. With rotation, it's nice that these IQs commemorate the sets that will be around the shortest, keeping their stories alive.

got 90s night tickets for Tuesday!
Monster Hunter Wilds is the most approachable, if slightly mindless MonHun. I love it, but I think the series has reached a point where if it gets any more forgiving, it will lose something core to MH. Check out my review

I had a blast guesting on Castle Bravo. Parts of this movie broke my brains and other parts made me believe in God again
