At Watts Towers, we just saw David Glenn Brown’s art. It made me cry. For my adopted country, for the injustice people have suffered and are suffering now. Then I made myself walk through the rest of the work. I’m glad I did. He documents this vicious world with grace and humor. Thank you ❤️

I’d never heard of an Indian musical instrument called Shruti. Last night, the harpist in the band that performed at Jones Coffee’s happy hour had one. Looking at it later, I realized it was a mini harmonium. He said it’s often used by Celtic musicians! India to Ireland. Borders? 💕

I just opened a package from Barbara. I’d asked last month if I could buy The Art of Inheriting Secrets from her so she could inscribe it. I’d helped her with background about Indian food when she wrote it years ago and she’d sent an inscribed copy then, which someone borrowed and didn’t return.
