I've just got the former. I've always been a little torn on the latter... I don't entirely begrudge people for running sponsorships, and some of them do work a lot of entertainment into their plugs, too. Hmm.

You know, Connie had this weird hangup about switching browsers in that they've wanted to for a long time, but did *not* want to do automatic import of browser data, but also dreaded the laborious task of doing it all from scratch. Not sure why.

Ended up settling on Waterfox. It's zippy enough so far, and I appreciate the developers openly scold AI both in update notes and on their official channels.

I wonder what extensions I should bother with? Historically, I don't use very many.

That said, I'm not certain I would need help on anything other than asking for a distro recommendation, had it come to that. At least, with regards to initial setup.

Amazing things happening over at this company. It's almost as if hounding every engineer they have to use AI for every task they can manage is having Effects.

Some combination of the following has worked:

- Disconnect all drives but the one Windows is being installed to
- Don't use the official media creation tool, use Rufus and an ISO
- Midway through setup, find the time option labeled "Use previous version of installer" and do so

No luck so far. Lots of others are having this same issue. Seems like the latest versions of Windows 11 installation media are simply broken for many, under a very wide variety of arbitrary situations.

Yes, this is bad, indeed. I created a Windows 11 USB drive for a fresh install, booted with it, and set it to format my main drive, like I've done with no problem so many dozens of times in my life. And yet...

Mostly with functions on websites working poorly or not at all! It's often that devs in the modern era barely check to see if changes they make work on anything other than Chrome and Firefox.

Ever run into compatibility issues? We have extremely little time to tinker. That's a primary concern for us.
