Today was the last day for my HBO Max subscription (for a few months), so I watched the last 5 ep. of Tokyo Vice.
I really enjoyed the show. Glad it came to an ending and didn’t leave it hanging. I hate discovering new shows only to find they were abruptly canceled.
Have to read the memoir now.

This is one of my favorite old commissions I drew. I usually don’t do this kinds of noodle inking but was really inspired by ol’ Swampy. Everything clicked with the brush on this one.
TIL: Chester, Illinois has a "Popeye Trail" of 19 statues (28 characters) situated throughout the city in honor of hometown hero Elzie Segar. Beyond the main cast they have Castor/The Whiffle Hen, The Sea Hag/Bernard, Alice the Goon & Child, King Blozo, Toar & more. I have a nerdly urge to visit.
