If I'm Russia, I'm thrilled with this move. It takes whatever US attention was left on Ukraine away and puts in on Iran, so they operate with virtually no resistance from us.

It also removes all credibility from America to lecture them about foreign intervention.

In case the Oval Office occupant never took an American history class or saw any well made war movie in the last 50 years…

Dropping bombs and putting boots on the ground without a clear exit strategy always leads to catastrophe and chaos.

Set aside the "it's just those other people" stuff. There will be retaliatory attacks from Iran on U.S. interests. Our citizens will die.

And some of them will be relatives of those who support this POTUS, or from districts of legislators who support him.

Who will their loved ones turn to then?
