Gushue is the GOAT and a big reason why I'm a longtime curling fan. Fun story: Brad Gushue was once at a Blue Jays game when I was covering the team. I was fangirling hard in the press box, trying to figure out if I could meet him. The US baseball writers had no idea what I was going on about 😂
Season 50 is a good time to jump back in! No Hatch but Colby from Season 2 (and All-Stars and Heroes vs Villains) is back!
2 seasons per year! They actually film them back to back in Fiji but then air them in the fall and then spring
Related: When my fiancé and I first started dating - during Season 45 - I admitted I still watched Survivor and asked if he’d like to watch an episode with me. He agreed because he liked it as a kid. Five seasons later we’re engaged and he’s more addicted to rewatching old Survivor seasons than me 😂
Love this graphic. After watching Survivor as a kid/teenager, Season 40, Winners at War, got me back in as an adult. The fact that it coincidentally coincided with the pandemic gave me ample time to catch up on seasons I missed. It’s amazing after all these years, the show is still so great
Wishing Buck all the very best in his retirement. He’s a true legend in broadcasting, a Blue Jays icon, and also an incredibly kind person. It was a true delight to be able to get to know him a bit.
I look forward to the day the Blue Jays add him to the Level of Excellence. I hope it’s very soon.
I’ll always cherish the time I spent as a colleague of Richard’s at The Athletic. Both his mentorship and friendship - which continued even after I left TA - has been extremely impactful to me. Looking forward to seeing what comes next!
Congrats on the new gig, Hannah! Looking forward to reading more of your future work!
Loved this ❤️ You got to see a historic game and truly experience something special. I’m so glad you had this moment and can cherish it.
A lot of people have asked me what it’s been like to watch the Blue Jays this year, now that I’m not on the beat. So, I wrote about that experience for @thestar.com: www.thestar.com/opinion/cont...
Thank you, Tracy!! 😊 It was fun to write it and glad people seem interested!
Thank you so much, Melissa ❤️ I miss you and hope you’re well!!
You can relate! I think first step is shirsey. It feels like less of a commitment than a jersey
Thanks John! I miss our press box chats.
Love this via @kaitlynmcgrath.bsky.social:
I’ve seen the Blue Jays play 1,000 times, but I’m new to being a fan

He is very excited that he finally gets to star in one of my articles. His ultimate dream
You’re too kind 💕 😊
HI JON. Miss you and your matrix!
Oh hi! It’s been a while since I’ve said this, but I wrote about the Blue Jays and what it’s been like watching their World Series run from outside the press box for @thestar.com www.thestar.com/opinion/cont...
I had this realization when I rewatched The O.C. I was obsessed with Seth and Summer as a teenager but seeing their relationship as an adult, he was a terrible boyfriend!
It is! Thanks Robin 😀 I miss writing, but I don’t miss having to stay up for west coast games lol
I know this isn’t my job anymore but I was curious. Last season, the Blue Jays used a total of 10 different starting pitchers over the course of the season. This year, on May 6, they’ve already used eight different starters. Anyway, that’s the stat. I’ll return to my non-beat writing life now 😂
Awesome, thank you! I couldn’t find it on the On Air section but this works too
Thank you! 🙌
Important question: Is there anywhere I can watch The Pitt finale live tonight? I can’t find it on Crave…
He’s in the top-tier of “lead TV characters who are also the worst characters on the show.”
Wishing good luck to all my friends and former colleagues who are starting their spring training coverage! Amid the snowstorm in Toronto, I’m jealously looking at your photos ☀️ ⚾️
🚨 Journalism job 🚨 My previous position as Blue Jays staff writer at The Athletic is posted! A chance to work with a truly outstanding staff of MLB writers and editors at a publication that will make you a better journalist. Highly recommend! jobs.lever.co/theathletic/...
Time to conclude this note: I’m happy to announce I’ve joined the team at @TennisCanada as a manager of communications. I’m excited for this new career chapter and to be involved in a sport that I’ve always loved 🙌🎾
