Ms. Copeland’s 4th grade class at Roguewood finished their personal narrative unit. As part of the unit they read Peg Kehret’s book about her personal polio experience. They then made the connection to the board game Candy Land which has a deep connection with the polio disease.

Today, Sunday, the day before school starts in Rockford, I visited our schools. What did I see? Teachers’ cars in our parking lots. Making those last minute preparations so we can welcome our Rockford Rams back to school tomorrow. We are ready for our first day!
