Monday morning
I vowed to not look
at my reflection
ever again
easier that way
the little girl
isn't visible
in the mirror
over sensitive
they call her
some people
only see you
as the reaction
you give
to their malice
step away
from the glass

as a human

The gentle reach of hope, doubt may last forever but nature shows otherwise. Life always finds a way. Delicate the mind, heart and soul, as is the blossoming leaf and yet...life always finds a way. Least this is what I say to myself when doom wakes up cradling gloom.
