Half-term trip down west to PK Porthcurno (Telegraph Museum).
Highlight for my teenage daughters was sending each other insults using Morse Code.
We just had our hip and ridge tiles completely replaced after Storm Goretti damage.
They are the tiles that run across the slates at the joining points of the roof.
It was £1,990 with scaffold and took a day.
Based on that, I reckon the whole roof would have been £8k+.
(We’re in Cornwall).

Well, it's taken a little longer than planned.
We were waiting for our neighbour to see if they could have their repairs done at the same time, as well as for the scaffolders.
But, we have a complete set of tiles on the roof after Storm Goretti.
