Thats why I love working at a Liverpool uni. There are so many Scouse accents among the academics here. Didn't really see that in Bristol (which is a shame as the a Bristol accent bangs too).

Same flights, same airline. It's bizarre.

Booking flights to India. WHY is it cheaper for me to fly to London from Manchester and get a direct flight than it is for me to get just the London to India leg??

It's £100 cheaper, and that's not even taking in to account the trains I'd have to get to London (which would add at least £100)
