I was interviewed by @nytimes.com about Reflect Orbital's terrible idea to use giant space mirrors to illuminate Solar farms.
The numbers are crazy. They'd need 3000 satellites to provide 20% of the midday Sun to just one solar farm. And they want to charge $5000 per hour per satellite!
And if so, WTF did the US and Israel bomb into oblivion last summer?
