Very odd start for St. John’s. They’re KenPom’s #2 ranked defense yet Nova is sorta carving them up. Meanwhile, they are one of the worst shooting teams from 3 in the country and they Red Storm are shooting 5-12 early from 3.

Just left the Villanova-DePaul game. It was a slaughtering. Obviously DePaul has been rough for a long time, but it shows Holtmann can’t fix everything year one. Maybe he can do what Ed Cooley has done at Georgetown and make the jump in year two.
